Job Purpose and Job Duties:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for working with the KARL STORZ sales and marketing resources to develop/implement strategies that drive market share growth for KARL STORZ products/services based on the product category assigned and within all assigned Govt accounts. Hired person should live in Atlanta, Baltimore, Norfolk, or other major East Coast cities.
Job Duties:
The KAM must be effective at gaining access to decision-makers and establishing productive working relationships. Forty percent (40%).
Ability to motivate the KARL STORZ sales and marketing team to engage/drive strategies to realize market share gain and revenue growth. Thirty percent (30%).
Work directly with all assigned Govt accounts in developing and managing solicitations within the assigned product category. Ten percent (10%).
Manage KSEA Govt contracts within assigned product categories. Twenty percent (20%).

Required:
- A minimum education level of a bachelor's degree
- 5-plus years of work experience in complex selling environments where success is tied to developing and implementing strategies to realize market share gain and revenue growth
- Possess exceptional organizational skills and the ability to multi-task
- Possess exceptional communication skills with the ability to influence key stakeholder
- Fact-based decision maker using data, experience, and stakeholder input to drive optimal outcomes that deliver market share and revenue growth within assigned accounts
Preferred:
- Knowledge of working with the DoD
- Experience within the KS organization
- Experience in working with the Salesforce application
- Former US Military member or Government contractor
