The Tim Unger Agency | Farm Bureau Financial Services is seeking a full-time (and part-time) Client Service Support person to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who thrives on working in a team environment with a strong desire to provide outstanding service to our clients. This position is an excellent foot in the door with an opportunity for growth and development in the financial services and insurance industry.

The position will start by training on our systems and learning the business. After a comprehensive training period and successful licensing, the candidate will have the opportunity to increase responsibilities with the potential to earn a commission.

Attention to detail, organization, and the ability to prioritize daily tasks with minimal direction are required. Additionally, excellent communication and client service skills are a must. This job is responsible for working with clients to assess their needs to ensure the right products and services are offered for their portfolio (no cold calling required).

Job Responsibilities Include:

• Data entry and systems management (database and administrative office support)
• Application review, submission, follow-up, tracking, and finalizing
• Gathering potential client information and generating reports
• Managing the contract to the closing process
• Consistent client interaction
• Handling customer inquiries and complaints as the first point of contact
• Communicating with the team and Agent about challenges and issues that need to be addressed
• Organizing workflow and reducing inefficiencies

Job Qualifications:

• Must be licensed and fingerprinted within 120 days (no out-of-pocket expense)
• Technologically savvy and able to learn new programs quickly with the ability to troubleshoot common issues
• Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
• Excellent attention to detail with a high level of accuracy
• Able to assess, prioritize and respond quickly and professionally to clients
• Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
• Ability to communicate professionally (verbal and written); empathize and build relationships with a variety of personalities
• Able to make quick and effective decisions, solve problems and maintain confidentiality
• Must have a vehicle and driver's license for off-site job functions (typically infrequent)

Job Details:

• Compensation $17-$19/hour (depending on experience) - increased after securing license
• Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Commission available on sales after licensing secured
