A local Building Supply Distributor is looking for energetic, self-motivated individuals to join their team as Inside Sales representatives! The ideal candidate will have previous sales experience, enjoys working with customers to help direct their vision into a reality, and excels in a “team first” work environment.

The Inside Sales representative will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customers, to create new customers and meet or exceed monthly sales quotas at the appropriate gross margin while increasing customer satisfaction.

This position is temp to perm for the right candidate and pay is based on experience.

Schedule: Monday-Friday, No weekends, No nights

The job requirements include, but are not limited to the following:

• Prior experience in Sales (required), within the building materials/plumbing industry (preferred)
• A strong sales presence and good interpersonal skills
• Problem solving, leadership and listening skills
• Organizational and time management skills
• The ability to deal with a vast array of customers with varying levels of product
• knowledge
• Able to engage in a consultative sales approach to recommend solutions for the varying needs of the customer
• Minimum 1 year in progressive position (2 years preferred)
• Product/applications experience preferred
• Wholesale distribution experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $39,100.00 - $49,500.00 per year

• Sales: 2 years (Preferred)
• Building Materials: 2 years (Preferred)
• Wholesale Distribution: 1 year (Preferred)

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Preferred)
