Job Responsibilities
We are an industry leader because our talented Sales Representatives not only exceed revenue and profit expectations, but because they constantly strive to exceed customer expectations with excellent service. In this technical sales role, you will be responsible for inbound customer requests, proactive outbound prospecting, and building/maintaining customer relationships.
Additional responsibilities:
- Managing a portfolio of dedicated accounts
- Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts
- Determining customers’ needs via consultative selling
- Exhibiting a high level of activity in lead generation, sales calling and prospecting
- Establishing and maintaining potential customer relationships
- Preparing strategic sales plans
- Maintaining an accurate sales pipeline and forecast in the Connectronics business system
- Qualifying prospective customers and identifying cross-sell and/or up sell opportunities
- Maintaining an up-to-date understanding of industry trends and technical developments
Job Requirements

Our ideal Technical Sales Representative will also have:
- Ability to clearly communicate customer needs/expectations internally in the organization
- Ability to coordinate communication as a team with Systems Engineers and customers
- Ability to deliver tough messages in a diffusing tone and professional manner
- College credit in a technical field
- Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities at a high level
- Good business sense – understanding of pricing and margin considerations
- Strong solution selling skills, including calling on key decision makers at all levels of an organization
- Knowledge of wireless networking and computer connectivity products
- Sales experience in a B2B environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $50,209.96 per year
