Position Summary
The Business Relationship Manager within the MagSeal Team is responsible for managing all existing house accounts and will support a growing pipeline of aerospace business development opportunities. This position requires extensive drive, along with demonstrated effective project management capability. A key to success for this role will be to establish and sustain strong relationships at strategic levels within our key accounts.
Essential Functions:
- Manage the Customer Relationship Team (inside sales) team development activities and goal setting.
- Department responsibilities include: contract management, pricing management, metric management, proposal generation and department process documentation.
- Forecasting activities tied to load capacity (Sales and Operational Planning).
- Support our annual targets for site goals including bookings, backlog and sales revenue.
- Support converting inbound leads to sales opportunities with new and existing customers.
- Develop and deliver presentations to customers when needed.
- Support wider sales team as required.
- Perform other duties as required.
Collaborative Efforts:
- Collaborate with MagSeal Engineering regarding new customer seal developments and requested design proposals.
- Collaborate and provide guidance to our Sales Representatives and Distributors regarding new aerospace business activity.
Metric Ownership:
- Collect, analyze, and present Bookings, Billings and Backlog data to upper management along with Sales Director while collaborating with Finance at site.
Leadership Qualities:
- Must be an effective communicator, manager and decision maker with sound judgement.
- Results oriented with a bias for action while driving standardization & simplification.
Skills and Behavior:
- Must be able to effectively communicate at the customer level in terms of process, function and quality.
- Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and conduct that conforms to MagSeal values and culture.
- Exceptional project management, organizational, planning, and time management skills with the ability to professionally influence others.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in business or a related field - Aerospace or technical field is preferred.
- Experience of Customer Management with a demonstrated track record improving customer satisfaction.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentative communication skills.
- Travel is expected 10% of the time.
- Prior Sales experience is a plus!
