We are looking too add a Full-Time Hotel Sales Coordinator that will not only assist the Director of Sales but also work as a part of our Front Desk Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a candidate who wants to grow their sales knowledge to further their career. You will be provided with excellent mentorship directly from the Director of Sales to help expand and develop your sales & hotel knowledge.

The Hotel Sales Coordinator will assist the Director of Sales in all aspects of sourcing and servicing sales activity across all market segments, for the hotel.

Responsibilities

• Sell and coordinate meetings, seminars and events for all market segments
• Prepares contracts and proposals, receives payment
• Types and files all correspondence for easy retrieval
• Responds to telephone inquiries regarding hotel availability; quoting established group rates
• Supports the Front Desk and makes reservations
• Provides weekly report to necessary departments about upcoming scheduled events needs
• Effectively communicates with all hotel departments on Event needs
• Manages Wedding Segment & Meeting Room Rental

Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday

Job Type: Full Time

Requirements

• Minimum 1-2 years hotel front desk experience or sales experience *preferred but not required*
• Excellent telephone communications skills
• Ability to meet one-on-one with individuals, such as brides or meeting room contact
• Strong organization skills and effective time management skills
