Aerospace And Defense Senior Media Integration Account Manager in Brea, CA
The Senior Media Integration Account Manager is the focal point for their assigned accounts, collaborating closely with the airline clients, as well as with internal suppliers, particularly in Program Office and Software Engineering, to ensure the client’s expected onboard passenger experience is consistently delivered on-target, on-time, and on-budget. Leveraging strong communication skills, they will work with numerous internal and external stakeholders to prepare schedules, plan resources, and develop solutions to customer issues. They are responsible for driving their assigned accounts through all aspects of the content management process: this will include managing the communication and production cycle of recurring media programs, working in a strategic capacity with the project managers group to define and communicate content requirements for new customers and will lean heavily on fulfilling customer expectations, measured through regular Customer Scorecard monitoring. The Senior Media Integration Account Manager will provide direction for content production delivery and set the schedule for on-time deliveries. As a subject matter expert in the media production cycle they will rely on previous experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. As a senior member of the team, they will be expected to provide guidance to junior members of the media services team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Liaise with assigned customers and lead the execution of their monthly IFE content sets
- On a monthly basis, communicate with the Media Integration Specialists to assess and track any reported errors to ensure timely resolution
- On a quarterly basis, complete quarterly Customer Scorecards with the airline client, identifying root cause and proposing solutions where any concerns may be flagged.
- Represent the company during onsite / offsite customer meetings as required
- Have a full understanding of the IFE product, production cycle and integration process
- Manage customer distribution lists to communicate delivery notifications of content sets
- Manage shipping and billing PO's per customer requirements
- Responsible for completing content billing per defined company requirements
- Track incoming customer owned media storage (SD cards, etc.)
- Use company defined tools (Trello) to create monthly production schedules to ensure and track on-time content deliveries
- Have basic understanding of and adhere to MPA standards and regulations
- Engage in discussion and ideas for improvements in department tools and processes
- Communicate and report production issues that may impact delivery to Media Services Project Managers and department manager
- Advise management on solutions to resolve discrepancies
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
- 3-6 years of experience in B2B account management
- 2-3 years of experience in the In-Flight Entertainment industry
- Experience with project management or project scheduling
- Experience working with cross-functional groups
- Familiar with a variety of concepts, practices and procedures within IFE, TV or a related industry
- Proficient, working knowledge of Excel, and Word processing programs
Benefits
The starting pay range for this position is $74,000 to 98,000 per year however, base pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge and location.
