Sales Director Responsibilities
- Supporting commercially & technically the existing distributor network.
- Gain new distributors in new territories.
- Be the ambassador of the Dolium brand.
- Double the revenue within 3 years.
Existing Distributors
- Support existing customers of distributors with commercial expansion into new territories, products, or channels and cost optimization.
- Finding new customers for distributors
- Support at fairs and events
- Support in optimizing the total landed cost for the customers of the distributor.
New Distributors
- Find new distributors in non-covered territories or channels.
- Manage territory agreements between distributors.
Product
- Support in technical questions and help in technical marketing information (brochures)
- Train the local support staff (train the trainer) on basic ‘keg’ principles.
- First line of contact for filling and dispensing at the point of sales questions
Competition
- Follow the market development on draught systems and come up with recommendations on product development.
- Keep up to date with the recycling initiatives.
Product
- Keep up to date with dispensing & filling equipment & make recommendations on product evolution.
Recycling
- Implement recycling program.
Quality Monitoring
- Follow-up of complaints from the market, analysis, and action plan. Follow up with customer.
Production
- Support operational team in Belgium with short term production priorities at the ABE/Norland plant.
- Support the operational Belgium team with the Sales & Operational Planning
Candidate Profile
- Home office based, ideally Lincoln Nebraska
- Up to 50% travel required including international travel to Belgian HQ
- Reports to the CEO (Belgium based)
- Knowledge of alcoholic (beer, wine) and/or non-alcoholic beverages (coffee, kombucha, functional) and/or health and wellness categories
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years sales experience in food/beverage/wellness industry, preferably with distributors in the manufacture/ingredients/packaging/equipment or transferrable experience in complementary food/beverage space.
- Fluent in English (written & spoken) mandatory; Spanish a plus.
- Good knowledge of modern IT/CRM systems
- A hands-on, self-starter who is comfortable working with a high level of autonomy and ambiguity, which is inherent in a young company. Must have excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Demonstrates a high level of curiosity; continuous learner; follows the industry asking “why?”
- Positive thinker who sees opportunities and solutions, not problems. A bit of irreverence or rebelliousness is a plus.
