The ideal candidate must possess a strong work ethic and above average communication skills. Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting the right product for them throughout the day
• Assist co-workers in maintaining showroom integrity, look, and feel before and after doors close
• Continuous learning about new product on the floor as well as placement around the showroom
• Keep appraised of competitor sales and product offerings
• Maintain knowledge of industry trends

Expectations

• Dress for success in a showroom environment.
• Consult with customers in finding the right home furnishing pieces that fit their needs.
• Continuously building customer relationships through interpersonal and follow-up skills.
• Achieve and exceed sales goals in a commission-based environment.
• Be persistent and have patience while building your business with an entrepreneurial spirit.
• Must be able to work independently as well as within a team environment.
• Have an eye for detail and a passion for fashion.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communications skills.
• Ability to work with computers and learn new programs.
• Flexibility to work a retail schedule that includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move about a large showroom and attend to customer needs
