Full description of the position

  • Full time position, 40+ hours per week with competitive hourly base and monthly commission check

The Business Development Center (BDC) plays a critical role in the selling process. They are the voice and the face of our dealership. The Internet Response Team is the link between the customer and the sales team and are the ambassadors of the Allen Chevrolet Advantage Program. The primary role of the BDC Representative is to motivate the customer to take action to visit the showroom by giving them the benefits and reasons to do so.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle inbound leads (phone, internet, text) and direct appropriately.
  • Contact potential customers using phone, email, text, and our CRM Tool.
  • Contact existing customer database for interest in additional vehicle purchases.
  • Maintain a positive and productive attitude while working in synergy with coworkers.
  • Remain knowledgeable of new products, features, accessories, processes, etc.
  • Stay productive in a fast paced, call center environment

Qualifications:

  • Automotive, Phone or Sales experience preferred, but not required.
  • Superior communication and customer service skills.
  • Self-starter mentality and ambitious spirit required
  • Ability to multi-task and stay organized.
  • Strong computer skills and data entry efficiency.
  • Great phone voice and etiquette.
  • Excellent follow-up skills
  • Clean driving record and valid driver’s license
  • Ability to pass a drug screening and background check
