Now Hiring - Sales Engineer - Global CNC Machine Manufacturer (#33695) in Novi, MI

We are searching for a Sales Engineer at an International CNC machine manufacturing company in the Novi, Michigan area.

The ideal candidates has experience or knowledge on CNC machines but entry level candidates who is interested in starting career as a Sales Engineer are encouraged to apply!

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support including set up, demonstrate, problem solving at client sites
• Training customer engineers and production staff on how to use the CNC machines
• Interface with customers and clients regarding product issues, questions, etc.
• Responsible for forecasting activities and business planning
• Sales support and project management/ project coordination
• Business travel to client sites within territory, as required by project

Requirements

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or related field is preferred but not a requirement
• Minimum 1-2 years’ relevant work experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Working experience at Japanese companies or Japanese skills will be huge plus
• Deep familiarity with CNC Machines is a plus
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Flexible and able to travel overnight as needed

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
