• This full-time position is located in San Jose, CA.

• HIGHLIGHTS of what the Sales Assistant role will do, but not limited to:

• Provides overall administrative support to the regional Sales manager to include: proposal & contract preparation, ordering & sending out swag give-away, scheduling meetings, organizing sales events, trade shows and industry events
• Identifies and qualifies leads through various sources such as online marketing campaigns, inbound inquiries and referrals
• Prospects new customers through lead generation and cold calling
• Assists with the preparation of sales proposals, contracts and overall sales strategies
• Provides informational services & assists with inbound and outbound customer inquiries
• Creates, maintains & updates custom database & contact list
• Registers, organizes and prepares all marketing & sales events, such as trade shows, customer networking, company sponsored & industry events

Are you the right fit for this role?

• SKILLS & EXPERIENCE that are necessary as a Sales Assistant will include, but not limited to:

• AA degree or higher is highly preferred
• Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication skills with solid time management abilities
• High energy and self-driven to research and find leads via cold calling and/or internet, email, etc.
• Professional and personable phone etiquette is required with a high ability to find customers pain points/specific needs
• Experienced in cold calling & building a rapport with potential customers by communicating specific service solutions to benefit the prospective customer
• Strong analytical skills to assess market conditions and provide recommendations/strategies
• Proficient in MS office programs (Outlook email & calendar, Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
• Able to multi-task with strong follow up skills with internal and external customers

SALARY RANGE:

• $65,000 - $70,000 per year
