GENERAL RESPONSABILITIES

Assist Operations Manager or Donation Support Staff in picking up furniture donations. Opening, closing and running checkout desk including running register, cash handling and appropriate cash reporting

• Provide excellent customer service to customers and MG clients.
• Is comfortable working with a wide range of volunteer workers who help run the shop.
• Assist with receiving donations, sorting and helping with placement on floor.
• Assist Operations Manager with facility maintenance to ensure a safe, clean and aesthetically pleasing store environment.
• Assists with restocking supplies in breakroom, restrooms, donation sorting area and check out desk as needed.
• Assist with furniture pickups from Donors locations (must be able to lift and carry).
• Perform other duties as assigned by Operations Manager.

WORK EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Previous retail experience desired but not required.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work rotating schedule that includes every other Saturday.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs.
• This position could require bending, stooping, lifting, standing for long periods of time and/or using personal protection equipment when appropriate.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

High School Diploma/GED required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $13.00 per hour
