Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Applications Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem solver with excellent technical writing skills and experience working in a cross-functional environment. As an Applications Engineer, you will work closely with sales, operations, and customers to provide the best solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot problem jobs and find solutions to increase product success.
• Work with product line engineering to improve the performance and reliability of our products.
• Visit with customers to understand their goals and work with them to find solutions that meet their needs.
• Perform necessary calculations to understand downhole tool loading and provide technical support to the team.
• Aid in maintaining key performance indicators (KPIs) for our product and work with the team to continually improve them.
• Help communicate product development needs to management and the product development team.
• Adjust operations processes as necessary to increase product realization and improve customer satisfaction.
• Provide technical writing support for proposals, technical reports, and other documentation as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related technical field
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Platform
• Excellent technical writing skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Williston, ND 58801: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

• Project engineering: 1 year (Preferred)
