Position Description:
Dynatech International is seeking an experienced Government Sales Professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling to the government and will have a strong understanding of government programs such as DIBBS, SNAP, DLMS, and FedBizOps. This position will require a self-starter who can generate leads and close deals independently.
Primary Responsibilities:
· Develop and implement sales strategies to target government agencies and prime contractors
· Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within the government marketplace
· Build relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within target agencies and prime contractors
· Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to potential customers
· Respond to customer inquiries and provide quotes and proposals
· Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing the sale
· Monitor and analyze market trends, competitor activity, and government regulations
· Attend trade shows and conferences to stay up-to-date on industry trends and connect with potential customers
· Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of products and services to customers
Experience, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in government sales, preferably in the defense industry
· Strong understanding of government programs such as DIBBS, SNAP, DLA, and FedBizOps
· Proven track record of success in sales, with the ability to meet and exceed sales targets
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and
· Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
· Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
