As a Convenience Store Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing our customers

with an exceptional experience!

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Greets customers and provides efficient and courteous service.
• Drives sales through effective communication with customers.
• Retrieves merchandise from the sales floor, stock room, or other inventory locations; checks in inventory from vendors.
• Ring sales and maintain cash control.
• Maintain a clean, customer-friendly environment inside and out.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to operate or to quickly learn the store’s point-of-sale system.
• Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail experience preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking throughout the retail space.
• Must be able to lift to 15 pounds at times.

In July 2019 Applegreen expanded its U.S. presence by acquiring a 40% stake in CT Service Plazas, consisting of 23 on-highway facilities in Connecticut, for approximately $37.6 million.
More recently, Applegreen confirmed they are part of the Empire State Thruway Partners Consortium. The consortium has been awarded a conditional 33-year lease for the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance of the 27 motorway service areas on the New York State Thruway.
