New Business Development Professional
Key Responsibilities:
- Actively seek out new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media to build and maintain relationships.
- Set up meetings with potential clients and understand their needs and requirements.
- Prepare and deliver presentations on products/services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and implement business development strategies.
- Negotiate contracts and close agreements.
- Develop and maintain a thorough knowledge of our products and services to facilitate sales efforts.
- Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and customer relationships.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and activity analytics.
- Maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
- Collaborate with manager to develop customer growth strategies.
Experience in:
- Prospecting potential clients based on having only general company information and basic contact information. Qualifying opportunities based on the company’s criteria.
- Delivering the TIG elevator pitch to secure full presentations.
- Making outreach persistently to potential clients to become their preferred supplier.
- Having a successful track record of building relationships with high level influencers and decision makers.
- Being a results and data driven business development professional.
Required Skills:
Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Excellent communication and relationship building skills.
Familiarity with NetSuite is helpful.
