Heartland School Solutions is seeking a highly motivated sales professional who is looking to join a rapidly growing team and be part of an incredible company who prides itself on its culture and people first.
The core solution you will be selling is a premiere event ticketing & payment platform which enables schools the ability to create, promote, and track ticketing sales for all events in one easy-to-use solution.
Your responsibilities will be to promote and sell our digital ticketing solutions to existing customers and to new customers through a variety of outbound sales methods. This will include leveraging our suite of sales tools to; create email campaigns, manage inbound leads from campaigns, call on prospects, network with prospects, and source new prospect lists. As you engage with prospects you will schedule and conduct live demos of the product through webinars, as well as manage the sales process to successfully close and win new business.
Our team is looking for someone who is:
- Passionate about enhancing the digital ticketing experience for school athletic and performing arts events nationwide
- Hungry and driven through high sales performance and recognition
- Organized and can use technology to manage leads, set appointments, and take notes
- Good at connecting with people and building long lasting relationships
- Persistent on follow up
- Willing to share and bring new ideas to the team
Here is what a typical week would look like for a sales representative at Heartland School Solutions:
- Prepared email campaigns to targeted audience
- Sourced list of high schools to target
- Talked with 50-100 prospects/schools
- Presented 5-10 live screen share demos of MSB Tickets with key decision makers of schools.
- Follow up on inbound leads
- Sent 100 – 200 outbound emails to potential prospects
- Maintained detailed notes on prospects in Heartland School Solutions’s CRM
- Review sales pipeline with Sales Manger
- Review new selling strategies and any road blocks that you experience
- Review new features being released and how you will incorporate into your sales strategy

- Meet with leaders from product and support teams to review customer feedback
- Review new ideas with the sales and product teams

Qualifications:
- 3+years sales experience in SAAS sales model
- Experience working with school athletics/fine arts programs
- Experience with cold calling and using sales prospecting tools
- Strong planning, problem-solving and organizational skills
- Proficient in using technology to stay organized
- Experience running online web/mobile software demos through a variety of platforms

The US base salary for this full-time position is 45,000 plus additional Bonus and Incentives based on performance. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
