Barbier Security Group (BSG) is a rapidly growing Bay Area based security services company. Founded in 2007 Barbier Security Group has been tasked with providing custom protective security programs for individuals, government organizations and private companies.
Overview
We are currently seeking a qualified Security Account Manager to oversee a prestigious private University in Oakland. As the dedicated Account Manager this applicant would need to have exceptional organizational and management skills in order to oversee the day to day operations of up to 30 guards consisting of approximately 1000 hours of work per week.
Skill Set & Responsibilities
- The Account Manager manages the day to day activity of the assigned site while providing excellent management of staff and customer service to the client. This position is an onsite working position that requires great flexibility in schedule with availability including nights and weekends.
- Manage and oversee all aspects of the security program including but not limited to training at all position levels, compliance, client requests, post orders, after action reviews and conducting site inspections/audits or drills
- Assess current procedures and orders and refine and review as needed and as directed by the client.
- Liaison between BSG and the client in order to maintain a clear concept of their needs and expectations.
- Schedule approximately 800 weekly guard hours.
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot deficiencies and or operational gaps and form solutions.
- Be adaptable to changing the security program as needed and as directed by the Client and the BSG upper management team.
- Responsible for regular meetings with key members of the client staff as well as building and improving the existing security program.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in Security Account management, project management or similar experience
- Must have a high level of attention to detail
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills
- Ability to to interact with and manage with clients and staff from various backgrounds
- Experience in client management
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office applications Google Suite as well as scheduling and workforce management software
- Knowledge of standard labor laws and regulations
- Be available on a 24/7 basis based on the needs of the company
- HS Diploma or GED required - College degree and/or ASIS certification (CPP, PSP) preferred
- Must be able to pass a background check
- Ability to drive a company vehicle and be insured
- Ability to stand and/or walk for majority of shift

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
