POSITION SUMMARY:

The Regional Manager Business Development & Key Accounts will take the lead on developing high value customers and accounts for the organization in defined class of trade. Develop and implement strategies to increase market share through the identification of targeted ASoS (government/DOD, nursing home, home health, assisted living, LTAC). Promote and sell the Company’s products and tissues by interacting with established customers and developing new prospects. Identify and implement process improvements that drive sales effectiveness and efficiency.

The RM will support sales and marketing activity within designated targets through field sales team in order to develop these new focus accounts and maintain or expand existing accounts. The RM will also play a role in implementation and execution on limited market releases and product launches, establish and sustain revenue growth and market penetration.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Drive sales growth and achieve defined sales performance goals (based on historical company sales) for products and tissue offerings
  • Participate in the planning, development, and implementation of targeted key accounts with field sales team
    • Achieve target account sales goals within these key accounts
  • Develop influential advocates for MiMedx that can be developed into greater resources for the organization; i.e. podium presenters across multiple provider specialties
  • Provide management and oversight of limited market releases and new product launches
  • Strengthen and maintain a goal-oriented environment that stresses performance, accountability, teamwork, credibility and success
  • Provide strong leadership in the development, coaching, and retention of field sales representatives
  • Prepare and submit sales forecasts, detailed analysis of opportunities, potential, barriers to success and strategies for growth and penetration
    • Establish plan to ensure achievement of revenue and sales goals for both budget year and strategic plan timeframe
    • Establish sales objectives by creating an account by account sales plan and quota in support of sales objectives
  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with the Company’s policies and procedures

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred
  • 10+ years experience in medical sales w/ ASoS (government, NH, HC, LTAC, ALC) with successful track record of achievement and strong C-suite relationships.
  • 1+ year of progressive sales management experience preferably in the medical device and tissue segments of the healthcare industry
  • Experience in high-growth organizations and developing brands that fueled the organization’s growth highly preferred

  • Broad-based businessperson with a complete understanding of sales, sales and marketing planning and execution, and ability to build a top-notch sales team
  • Ability to communicate regional strategies and plans to senior management for approval, and direct sales team for implementation

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work is performed at customer/clinical sites and/or home office. When at customer site, must follow appropriate dress code (scrubs ) and adhere to their credentialing and registration system, which requires up-to-date vaccines. Must travel local and/or long distance within assigned territory on a regular basis.
