Magnify is seeking an individual who can lead the organization’s development program that supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through our Residential, Life Skills, Employment, and Transition programs. The position is remote but the candidate should be located in metropolitan Orlando. Office support is located in St. Cloud, Florida and the position may conduct tours at the campus, meet with donors, and attend team building and training at this location.

Duties and Responsibilities

Works directly with the Executive Director in creating plans and strategies for cultivating, soliciting, acknowledging, and pledge collections

Identify and cultivate relationships with prospective donors, parishes and churches, corporations, and foundations

`Organize and oversee two annual events including a fall gala and spring fundraising breakfast

Organize and oversee online peer-to-peer fundraising campaigns utilizing social media

Develop plans and implement goals which will include but not be limited to programmatic budgets and revenue

Identify grant opportunities, lead grant writing and application of approved grant

Identify opportunities, and complete grant tracking and reporting

Manage donor, funder, correspondence, reporting, and stewardship including visits and accompanying the Executive Director when needed

Maintain donor constituent contact reporting in the donor database

Study and analyze data to develop trends, projections, and corrective strategies when needed

Oversees the preparation and distribution, placement of all collateral materials and maintains the website while creating and delivering presentations and messaging

Plans and organize fund, friendship raising, and recognition events

Develop and implement marketing communications via electronic and published communications and social media

Other duties assigned by the supervisor

Job Requirements

Must have a BS or BA in Business, Administration, or other related fields preferably with two years of supervisory experience in Grants and Special Events

Candidates with at least five years of experience in development gift experience and background with corporate funding preferred

Must be experienced in technology-based office management and office support. Proficient in Word, Powerpoint, Excel, and cloud-based donor management (such as Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT)

Must be detailed oriented, and organized, have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and be a team player

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

• Fundraising: 2 years (Preferred)
