Retail Sales Account Executive in Sacramento, CA
We are seeking a dynamic, motivated Account Executive to join our team! The Territory or Institutions Account Executive is responsible for generating and managing sales of all EBRS products and services within their assigned territory or market. This is accomplished by managing/servicing existing accounts and developing new business. Account Executives are expected to be self-motivated and be actively selling in the field at least 4 days a week. An Inside Sales Representative will be assigned to each Account Executive to provide administrative assistance.
Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and maintain existing accounts through personal visits and follow-up on a systematic basis.
- Maximize sales and margins against established annual sales goals, while developing and maintaining relationships with customers and suppliers.
- Work with various departments i.e. Warehouse Operations, Accounts Receivable, and Purchasing in order to fulfill customer orders.
- Order entry, quote generation.
- Conduct Product research.
- Develop a comprehensive knowledge of food service activity within the assigned territory including customer trends, competitive presence, and related industry activity.
- Develop beneficial partnerships with an existing client base and prospective business.
- On-going product and skill training will be provided by EBRS management. It is the responsibility of the Account Executive to attend courses offered (physically or electronically) and to apply the knowledge acquired to your customers.
- Learn and utilize the comprehensive network of sales reps, distributors, and manufacturer’s and apply that to maximize sales and customer satisfaction efforts.
- Achieve quarterly and Annual sales goals.
Skills/Qualifications:
- Must have prior sales experience (in the food industry or food service equipment industry).
- Food service Experience.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Organizational skills.
