The Role

The Order Operations Specialist is a member of the Global Business Operations team primarily supporting the local regional requirements and participates in sales operations, order management, payments and compliance.

This is a behind the scenes operations role and is primarily not customer facing. However, some members of the team might work directly with customers and vendors from time to time.

• Performs daily processing of all operational aspects of sales orders, including but not limited to invoicing and refunds

• Responds to order-related information requests from Sales, Delivery, Service and other departments throughout the organization

• Records information and ensures quality of data in CRM and other internal systems that support sales, production and financial management

• Investigates system discrepancies quickly and finalizes solutions

• Coordinates with Finance and IT to ensure orders and payments are accurately captured in all downstream systems

• Keeps up to date with regional Order Ops colleagues with similar functional specialties, to help ensure consistency of process across regions

• Articulates specific ideas on how to further refine systems or processes

• Participates in special projects as needed

• High attention to detail with data entry

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree or evidence of exceptional ability

• Superior attention to detail under tight deadlines

• Excellent time management, organizational, and communication skills

• Ability to adapt to frequent change

• Comfort working with multiple teams and colleagues from various management levels

• Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, according to activity volume

• Customer service oriented

• Experience with Salesforce a plus
