Job Overview

We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue. Handles and processes industrial, commercial and contractor telephone inquiries and orders to current and new customers. Develops and maintains excellent customer relationships to ensure customer satisfaction.

This job is a hybrid position, allowing employee to work in-person at our Mansfield OH branch 1-2x / week. Due to the nature of the outside sales position, traveling to customer sites in the surrounding areas may be required. We are looking to grow into the Greater Columbus area.

Developing a positive and strong relationship with customers in a geographical territory or with specific types of customers (eg. Electrical contractors, industrial plants, home builders, etc.) that need our products and valued services. Become an important professional consulting asset to our customers and can become a fully commissioned salesperson (or specialist) as part of a team to service and grow our customer base and become a valuable partner along with our customers.

Duties

• Present and sell company products and services to new and existing customers, including pricing quotations and product information.
• Prospect and contact potential customers.
• Reach agreed upon sales targets by the deadline.
• Maximizes sales volume by utilizing "add-on sales" and "up-selling" techniques.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints to ensure customer satisfaction, reports to management.
• Set follow-up appointments to keep customers aware of latest developments.
• Create sales material to present to customers.
• Communicates effectively with inside sales force regarding customer base, sales leads, and product preferences in order to maximize profitability for the company.

​Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or associate degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field
• 3+ years experience in sales, customer service, or other electrical industry experience
• Ability to build rapport with clients
• Strong negotiation, presentation and closing skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet or exceed goals
• Demonstrate strong customer service skills. Customers First!

Compensation:

Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
