Job Summary:
This position brings a ‘human touch’ to our online shopping experience. This role focuses on helping customers on our website with sales, product questions and general support. The role also includes customer outreach to drive sales and achieve the store’s sales goals.
Job Description:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties as assigned):

• Communicate directly with Joybird.com customers via Chat Platform, and Video.
• Give expert advice on Joybird products and sales support for all customers.
• Guide customers through our Virtual Showroom as if they were here in person.
• Help troubleshoot and problem solve where needed
• Connect with customers via Chat Platform’s clienteling tools in order to drive and close sales.
• Hit sales goals and grow Virtual Store’s business.
• Give feedback to Management on what is working and what’s not.

SCOPE & IMPACT:
This position helps drive sales for Joybird by answering customer questions, making product suggestions and building customer confidence in Joybird thus removing obstacles between the customer and finalizing their purchase.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have strong Retail sales experience and/or Customer Experience background.
• Must be passionate about selling and great customer service.
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication with a personality that shines through text, chat & email.
• Problem solver and in-it-together mindset.
• Must be very comfortable with communication applications that include text, voice & video (ex- Slack, FaceTime, iMessage, WhatsApp, Zoom etc.)
• Goal Oriented and able to meet targets and deadlines.
• Open availability to work in person, a flexible schedule including mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

• Comfortable with speaking with escalated customers.
• Experience with clienteling to drive and close sales.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Sitting/Typing/Moving around the showroom up to 8 hours a day.
• Able to routinely move objects weighing over 50lbs and understand safety requirements.

PAY RANGE: $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
