Comrex is looking for a Sales Support Specialist

Comrex is an industry leading designer of hardware and software solutions for the radio, TV and audio/video media industries. Our products are IP based, using cutting-edge systems to deliver real-time media from point-to-point. Our team is composed of experienced individuals with backgrounds and experience that are optimized to provide the best possible support to our customers throughout the world.

Job Summary

The primary objective of this position is to build rapport with clients and partners through friendly, engaging communication and work to ensure clients and partners are satisfied with Comrex equipment and our company. The position also entails providing technical and non-technical product information to clients and partners.

Essential Job Functions

• Answer calls and listen to client needs and recommend appropriate solutions
• Provide technical and non-technical product information via phone and/or email
• Process and prioritize incoming orders, both domestic and international; provide order status to clients
• Prepare proforma invoices and shipping quotations
• Capture client/potential client information and update CRM system; follow up on leads
• Manage product demonstration/loaner program
• Coordinate/organize trade show arrangements a couple of times per year
• Manage literature inventory and trade show give-away items
• Work as a team with all departments to do whatever is needed to assist customers or other teammates
• Cross train in shipping department
• Other appropriate duties

Education/Experience/Other Requirements:

• High school diploma/equivalent required. AA/AS/BS/BA preferred
• Ability and desire to self-teach and work with technical information
• Knowledge of IT networking concepts a plus
• Experience in radio and/or TV broadcast a plus
• Strong work ethic, be a team player and be conscientious
• Self-motivated with a professional demeanor
• Fanatical customer service skills
• Effective verbal, written and interpersonal skills
• Attention to detail, problem solving, multi-tasking, organization and time management
• Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Windows and Office products
• Take responsibility and be accountable
• Must be prompt and regular in attendance
• Willingness to travel a couple of times per year
• Passion for what we do and a positive can-do attitude

Comrex is a small but dynamic company and offers a unique and rewarding work environment. Work hours required (Monday-Friday 9:00am-5:00pm).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
