Director of Sales
Nikco Sports is a nation-wide leader in sales and distribution of licensed sports and entertainment memorabilia and products. In our 30-year history we have seen tremendous growth and are looking to continue that growth and development in 2023 and beyond. We are looking for the right sales leader to assist in that process. We have also donated over $3 million to various charities over the years through the promotion of our products and reside in a beautiful professional office complex in Chesterfield, Missouri.
Nikco Sports is looking for a high-performing relational Director of Sales with a proven track record in training, motivating, and growing sales teams. This manager will be responsible for maximizing our sales team’s potential, coaching and encouraging, list development and management, and product sales opportunities. This Director of Sales would be responsible for coaching and managing our AE Sales Department as well as creating and developing our newest sales channel, the Business Development Sales Department.
Responsibilities
· Achieve growth and hit sales targets by successfully managing the sales teams and personal sales performance of each member across all sales departments.
· Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands company’s customer base and ensure its strong presence overall sales mediums.
· Lead recruiting efforts, objectives setting, coaching and performance monitoring of 10+ inside phone sales representatives.
· Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs.
· Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status.
· Know historical sales numbers, understand current objectives and sales goals, keep all sales team members aware of where they are in perspective to achieving and surpassing goals, both individually as well as a team.
Requirements
· Successful previous experience as a sales representative or sales manager, consistently meeting or exceeding targets
· Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization
· Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
· Strong business sense and industry expertise
· Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills
· Ability to clearly communicate SWOT analysis to CEO and Vice President while also providing reasonable solutions and ways forward.

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
