This National Accounts Manager will cover our Central Territory which includes the following states: Missouri, Arkansas, Kansas, Oklahoma, Colorado

Myriad is seeking a National Accounts Manager to identify, develop, and manage product adoption and programmatic implementation of ordering Myriad germline and somatic testing system-wide in large national healthcare and hospital systems, including academic institutions, NCCN, NCI, etc. The National Accounts Manager will target selected accounts with a project-based, consultative sales approach; build relationships with higher level business stakeholders and implement process, technology, and methodology to increase system-wide product ordering and service pull-through.

What you will do:
- Increase test volume and revenue by focusing on large-scale, long-term growth opportunities with large health systems
- Navigate large health systems; identify and target high-level visionaries, decision-makers, and influencers
- Create and maintain relationships within prioritized accounts including executives, administrators, purchasing leaders and organizations, value-based purchasing programs, vendor managers, and other influential leaders and physician-leaders and champions
- Build “sales projects” around targeted accounts with a roadmap for long-term solution-oriented partnerships with large health systems
- Set account goals and vision through development and execution of strategic planning, tactical execution, c-suite management, communication plan, account metrics, workflow development, and training
- Drive and leverage internal and external cross-disciplinary stakeholders, including critical influencers internally and externally to drive value for accounts and grow business
- Collaborate with Myriad internal partners including physician sales reps to drive broader and deeper adoption of Myriad testing and services within targeted accounts
- Translate product capabilities into unique and differentiated business benefits that will resonate with customer business goals; utilize market trends, experience, and customer and competitive intelligence to inform product positioning
- Adjust strategy and tactics including communication style and deliver product value proposition and messaging based on customer needs and business goals
- Use collaboration, project management, and influencing skills to build support and partnerships across the organization needed to scale large accounts
- Develop customers to be partners and promoters of Myriad to peers and industry connections
Requirements
- Bachelors’ degree required
- MBA and Six Sigma or Lean Healthcare Certification preferred
- 6+ years of sales experience in diagnostic testing, molecular testing, medical device, and/or specialty pharmaceuticals required
- 3+ years of experience in a strategic sales role i.e. Key Accounts, National Accounts, or similar
- Experience selling and closing deals through relationships with healthcare system executives, directors, administrators
- Proven track record of winning business in large national healthcare and hospital systems
- Experience in project-based selling required
- Individuals to be considered for this position should have strong strategic thinking skills, extensive knowledge of healthcare delivery systems, ability to network, and a proven track record of success in sales demonstrated examples of leadership or management
- Strong Communication and Collaboration skills required
- Excellent time management, scheduling, and organizational skills
- Project leadership and experience leading and working successfully with cross-disciplinary teams required
- Ability to sense the importance or impact of issues and situations and take appropriate actions
- Must be flexible, innovative, strategic, and self-motivated
- Must have the flexibility to work extra hours to meet corporate and departmental goals
- Demonstrates values and ethics that support Myriad's mission, goals, and professional code of conduct
- Track record of demonstrating integrity, even when inconvenient
- This position requires up to 50% overnight travel.
