Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. Marketing, Management or Communications Degree preferred.
- 5+ years in a sales-driven environment with consumer packaged goods and selling experience preferred.
- Experience with multiple channels of distribution preferred.
- Prefer strong facilitation, organizational skills, communication skills (oral and written), and strong computer skills.
- Positive attitude with ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work independently, self-starter, energetic.
Job Summary:
The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for enhancing customer relations and coordinating activities between plants, customer service and customers. Sells products by maintaining and expanding customer base. The position entails coordination with food service distributors, casino food and beverage, non-traditional customers, regional chains, mass, convenience stores and grocery. This position will be responsible for implementing marketing programs within each channel segment and coordinating sales and marketing activities with brokers and current sales team members.
Essential Job Duties:
- Develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and profits for both PWI & customer.
- Develop initiatives and pursue new business development opportunities for each customer channel, which includes creation of account-specific programs, promotional items, additions and deletions to maximize opportunities.
- Identify potential customers and their needs. Uncover continuous improvement opportunities to expand their business utilizing our complete portfolio of products.
- Prepare marketing presentations for customers in managed territory.
- Work collaboratively on forecasts with customer and plants associated.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by utilizing our full team support to build strong relationships.
- Coordinate follow-up to include all sales, strategy, production and payment terms.
- Work closely with customer service, transportation, logistics, accounts receivable, quality assurance, procurement, graphic design and production to ensure lean business.
- Regularly communicate with Senior Sales Managers to discuss programs, pricing, competitive activity and opportunities.
- Reviews accounts receivable with accounts receivable partner to ensure timely and accurate payment.
- Regularly call on new and/or established sales brokers and agents to maintain and grow business with customers. Create and state expectations, establish goals and track results.
- Participate in business planning meetings and conference calls to enhance product development skills, marketing tactics and closure strategies.
- Position will require a reliable means of travel (accommodations are available where they may apply).

GMP & PPE Required:
While on the production floor in the plant, you will be required to follow and help to enforce all GMP regulations in the plant. Anyone entering the production floor must follow the GMP rules in their employee handbook, which includes the required hairnets, beard nets, and earplugs. It is also required that all personnel wear safety glasses. Follows standard operating procedures including quality checks and procedures for all operations. Also follows HACCP and SQF requirements for food quality and safety.
Non-Essential Job Duties
Will perform other related work as required.- Participate in other job training sessions which promote safety, empathy, technical training and awareness.
Work Environment
This position will primarily work in a designated office setting when not traveling. Occasional opportunities may arise which will allow for remote work, when necessary.
