Position Overview:
This is an entry level sales position. The role is intended to offer an employee exposure to all facets of the sales organization for the Specialty Containers business unit, and to provide the employee with a broad base upon which to build a sales career or to demonstrate ability to move upward within ARPNA.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Manage sales and coordination of orders for various house accounts
  • Managing lead generation and qualification process for HPC segment.
  • Coordinate and communicate pricing changes with sales, the cash management group and customers.
  • Provide forecasting support to the Supply Chain Organization.
  • Assist in price quotations, monitoring contract compliance and the development of promotional events.
  • Contact select customers regarding status of accounts receivable.
  • Provide miscellaneous support for the Sales and Marketing functions.
  • Provide stock quotes to existing and potential customers of stock products and following up on customer feedback
  • Generate and manage an opportunity pipeline for assigned customers
  • Manage multiple priorities in a dynamic work environment
  • Execute tactical plans based on strategic direction of the business
  • Commercial & financial analysis
  • Coordinate and work with plants, R&D group, F&A to complete the specification sheet for stock packages.
  • Co-ordinate sales data for monthly reporting (e.g. for board report).
  • Assist Market Development Manager in research projects, analyzing segment, building customer, competitive and product database.
  • Assist with other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree Business Administration or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience including negotiating, strategy development, and building of value propositions
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook and PowerPoint software is required, and SAP, Salesforce.com and previous exposure to manufacturing processes and technical knowledge within the plastics industry preferred
  • High energy level with the capacity for learning and learning quickly
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally throughout the organization (i.e., with Purchasing, Finance, R&D)
  • Strong communications skills (written, spoken, presentation, listening)
