Full description of the position

Brown Motors Ford Lincoln Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram of Petoskey has an immediate opening for a Full-Time Sales Consultant. This position presents an opportunity to gain hands on job knowledge to advance your career in automotive within the dealership.

What you’ll do

As a Sales consultant you will help drive the continued success of Brown Motors by providing reliable and impeccable assistance to our valued customers. You will act as a personal consultant in our customers buying process. Your primary responsibilities will be to find  potential customers and set appointments with them to assist with their selection of a vehicle while providing them with different options of what and how to purchase their vehicle. You will work closely with your direct Manager to guide and train you in this process. 

  • Evaluate customers’ needs, working quickly and efficiently
  • Contribute to a fun team atmosphere
  • Master products, services and company knowledge
  • Maintain a clean and safe workplace
  • Assist with document and information gathering
  • Make phone calls, send emails, and text messages 
  • Talk with customers to find their wants/needs 
  • Follow up and maintain a relationship with customers post sale
  • Keep vehicle lot neat and orderly, moving units as directed and in accordance with dealership display standards
  • Return vehicle keys to the appropriate areas

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
