Description
Leidos is seeking a customer experience driven personality to join our team as a COMSEC Account Manager. This role will drive National Security Systems operations on focused contractual agreements while working with a team of highly motivated, technical individuals who work in a collegial, collaborative work environment. Your key role is Supporting the NASA customers with the loading of key and maintaining continuous operation of the encryption devices. Responsible for destruction of COMSEC material when required or as directed by the Central Office of Records. Maintain a working knowledge of all procedures contained in all CSOP, NASA Central office of Records bulletins, and on the NASA COMSEC site. Must maintain access to all accountable COMSEC material held by users as well as performing bi-annual COMSEC inventories. In addition, you would contribute to the strategic performance direction across all areas of responsibility.

Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain a working knowledge of all procedures contained in all CSOP, NASA Central office of Records bulletins, and on the NASA COMSEC site. Must maintain access to all accountable COMSEC material held by users.
- Maintain COMSEC account files and manage destruction, transfer, inventory, and possession COMSEC material reports.
- Conduct two party bi-annual physical inventories of all accountable COMSEC materials within the account.
- Ensure all COMSEC material shipped from the CAM’s organization is packaged and shipped in accordance with acceptable standards.
- Conduct two party encryptor key loading and maintain continuous healthy operation of all cryptographic devices.
- Installs software updates for network encryptors outside of NASA National Security Systems based on project requirements.
- Develops encryption solutions with CAM and stakeholders during Mission Resilience Projection Program (MRPP) or KMP reviews IAW NASA, NSA and NIST guidelines for multiple projects at MSFC. Ensures that all encryption equipment is “healthy” and is maintained to ensure continuous operation of sensitive network.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of related experience
- Basic understanding of COMSEC account management
- Basic understanding of encryptors and encryption solutions, including PKI
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of basic Internet protocol network concepts (routers, switches, VLANs, ACLs, firewalls, and certificates)
- Bachelor’s degree in related field.

Pay Range:
Pay Range $78,000.00 - $120,000.00 - $162,000.00The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
