WHO WE ARE: Statewide Commercial Insurance Brokers is an independent insurance brokerage based in Altadena. We have been serving small to medium businesses in California and several other states for more than 20 years. Statewide offers several insurance products such as Commercial General Liability, Commercial Auto, Workers' Comp, Bonds, Trucking etc.

OPEN POSITION: Statewide Commercial Insurance Brokers is looking for a result driven and highly motivated Customer Support Representative, preferably with Property and Casualty (P&C) license to join our team at our Altadena office. In this position you would assist our clients with ​making monthly ​payments, reinstating accounts, and other services as needed. You would also call on cancelled policies to prospect clients and generate leads for the sales agent. Additionally, you would assist with routing inbound sales calls to the sales agents.

SKILLS NEEDED:

• Property and casualty (P&C) license preferred,
• Excellent communication skills both over the phone and in writing.
• Enjoy talking to and helping people.
• Highly motivated and result driven.
• Good to excellent typing speeds and computer skills.
• Multitasking and organizational skills.
• Ability to answer a high volume of calls and/or emails daily.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Preferably familiar with using AMS360 management system.

DUTIES:

• Reach out to existing clients by phone and email to assist them with policy payments, set up clients on auto pay, and provide other services as needed.
• Prospecting for leads from an existing client data base and turning them over to our Insurance Agents.
• Assist with inbound sales calls.
• Issue certificate of insurance for commercial lines.
• Answering insurance policy related questions.
