Job Summary: We are seeking a personable and highly motivated Furniture Sales Associate to join our team. As a Furniture Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and driving sales in our furniture store. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers in finding the perfect pieces for their homes, answering product-related inquiries, processing sales transactions, and maintaining a clean and organized sales floor. Additionally, you will be responsible for answering sales calls and providing support for online inquiries. The ability to lift and move furniture is required for this position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Greet customers with a friendly and welcoming demeanor as they enter the store.

· Assist customers in finding furniture pieces that meet their needs and preferences.

· Provide in-depth product knowledge and answer customer inquiries regarding features, materials, dimensions, and pricing.

· Offer suggestions and recommendations to customers based on their requirements and personal style.

· Proactively engage customers to drive sales and meet or exceed sales targets.

· Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, credit card, and other payment methods.

· Maintain a neat and organized sales floor, ensuring that furniture is properly priced and tagged.

· Answer incoming sales calls and address customer inquiries promptly and professionally.

· Handle online inquiries and provide assistance to customers navigating our website.

· Assist with moving and loading furniture for customers, as required.

Qualifications:

· Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the furniture or home decor industry, is preferred but not required.

· Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.

· Strong verbal communication skills to effectively convey product information and recommendations.

· Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.

· Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to ensure accurate pricing and tagging of furniture items.

· Basic computer skills and the ability to navigate online platforms.

· Physical ability to lift and move heavy furniture items.

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Must be personable, energetic, highly motivated, and willing to learn.

Salary: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
