About Us: TCC Group Companies, including Amcon Concrete Products and Borgert Products is a leading manufacturer of architectural and concrete specialty products, which include concrete masonry block, concrete repair products, precast, architectural stone, mortars and grout, and hardscape landscaping products.

SUMMARY: To actively promote and sell TCC Materials commercial and retail lines of products in an assigned market area. Develop and maintain a profitable customer base, service existing customers by providing daily market support and ensure customer satisfaction in assigned markets for TCC Materials companies, products, and services. Primary emphasis is placed upon providing customer support services, coordinating distribution relationships, product knowledge training, developing, and growing base business, customer satisfaction, and developing new market opportunities to achieve the sales and contribution objectives of the company. Additionally, this role will have a strong focus on growing the company’s specialty lines of products within the regional market, including construction chemicals, concrete repair & restoration, and floor preparation, among others.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Contact prospective and established customers
  • Develop new accounts through core and emerging markets. Support, maintain, and enhance commercial and retail distributor relationships in assigned market area, including special focus on the growth and development of new product lines.
  • Sell company products, ideas, and programs to industry shareholders including distributors, hardware stores, home centers, lumber yards, mass merchandisers/Big Box stores, building supply wholesalers and retailers. Call on contractors & jobsites that are interested in or currently utilizing TCC equipment & products.
  • Provide jobsite assistance by evaluating problems and troubleshooting or providing resolution.
  • Develop technical and application knowledge of TCC product lines. Conduct customer product knowledge clinics, train store personnel, and participate in trade shows, as requested. Provide technical support and product application training to commercial and retail distributors.
  • Work closely with Corporate Management Team, production personnel and sales staff to ensure timely market introduction of new products and product modifications. Actively pursue new business applications for successful product intro into market.
  • Promote TCC and its products by working with consulting engineers, DOT, architects, and other specifying agencies to support the markets and applications targeted in the planning process.
  • Participate in and effectively implement tools learned via company sales training programs.
  • Ensure timely and accurate order-fulfillment process.
  • Attend and participate in industry trade associations to develop and strengthen relationships important to the sale of TCC product lines.
  • Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company. Ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Inside Sales duties, may include performing sales analysis and tracking, assisting customers in finding products used on past jobs, online project tracking, analysis of production reporting and inventory levels, etc.
  • Responsible for implementing pricing policies.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or business.
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required.
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, suppliers, and other employees of the organization.
  • Knowledge/experience in the commercial and residential construction materials industry, a plus.
  • Knowledgeable use of Microsoft office suite of products; including Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to analyze and manage data.
  • Comfortable and capable of presenting and responding requests for information.
