We are 206 Tours a leading Pilgrimage Travel company dedicated to creating extraordinary group Pilgrimage experiences. As our Group Travel Sales Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in crafting and executing exceptional travel itineraries for various groups, making their dreams come true one destination at a time.
Our ideal candidate is a dynamic and results-driven individual with a proven track record in sales, a keen eye for detail, and a deep understanding of the travel industry. As a natural communicator, you'll work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless coordination and the delivery of exceptional service at every stage of the journey.
Responsibilities include:
- Reviewing and updating:
- group recapitulation,
- rooming lists,
- final instructions,
- transfer manifests, and
- other group-related documents
- Monitor delivery of digital content deployed across 206 Tours audiences
- Work with web-developers to produce custom website for each group leader
- Provide administrative support to group leaders and clients, by email, online chats and calls
- Allocating group allotments with airlines, hotels and DMC’s
- Conducting research for and managing group travel inquiries (hotels, flights, transportation, restaurants, activities) and virtual event inquiries (destinations, suppliers, swag ideas)
- Create and diligently read all group proposals, itineraries and group agreements
- Ensuring that DataBase processed payments and invoices are correct
- Travel is not mandatory but from time to time you will be invited and we do encourage
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Prior customer service, operations or sales experience
- Strong interest in faith-based travel, Christian and Catholic teachings
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (particularly Word and Excel), Google Docs, Canva and video meeting platforms (Zoom and Google Meet). Amadeus GDS program a huge plus
- Positive, flexible attitude and ability to adapt quickly to change
- Self-motivated, proactive team player who takes initiative
- Math skills as well as professional written and verbal communication
- Strong time management skills, work well under tight deadlines, with ability to multitask, maintain organization, prioritize projects
- Travel/hospitality industry and/or GDS system experience preferred
