Ford Hyundai of Kirkland, the top-performing Ford, Hyundai, and Genesis dealer on the west coast, is hiring a Service Cashier to join our team! This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone who wants a long-term career in the automotive industry. Working as our Service Cashier, you would be taking cash/card/credit for purchases and transactions while providing impeccable customer service. The ideal candidate would have prior customer service experience with great attendance.

Service Cashier

• Answering phones.

• Accepting payments for service work performed.

• Processes warranty claims on a timely basis for each franchise or distributor.

• Processes all warranty paperwork to ensure proper documentation.

• Verifies criteria required by factory or distributor.

• Reconciles all warranty receivables with payments through the appropriate accounting schedule.

• Posts credits on the computer.

• Resubmits all rejected claims promptly or receive authorization to write them off.

• Follow-up on payment of outstanding claims.

• Tracks warranty parts by tagging them with the repair order number, date of replacement, and date on which part may be disposed of.

• Arranges for parts to be shipped to the factory or distributor or to be scrapped.

• Files and maintains all service records as required by the warrantor.

Service Cashier Qualifications

• Customer Service Experience.

• Warranty Experience.

• Warm personality.

Corporate hiring requirements: 18 years or older with a clean driving record, valid driver's license, able to pass criminal background, and drug screen – THC not included in the screening.
