About the Position

We’re seeking a motivated Sales Professional that strives to be the best each day. Our perfect candidate is a self-starting, creative, enthusiastic, sales-minded individual. If you possess relationship-building skills, the ability to ask questions to understand the needs of others, have the ability to make decisions quickly, enjoy problem-solving and have great organizational skills, this just might be the role for you!

We provide quality sales opportunities with pre-qualified customers that have called us needing our services--not "cold calling". The job entails managing a strong pipeline of company-generated prospects, conducting in-home design consults, completing sales documentation, placing orders with vendors, providing details to installers, and following up on leads that do not initially result in a sale. In addition to meeting with homeowners, the successful candidate will establish and maintain relationships with real estate professionals, builders, interior designers, and many others to maintain a network of potential business.

The position includes a company vehicle, computer, iPhone, and all the necessary gadgets that make measuring efficient and professional. Our design consultants enjoy working in a new location every day including the most beautiful and unique properties that the Carolinas and the Southeast have to offer.

Expectations of the Job

  • Conduct informative and customized in-home consultations for window treatments daily.
  • Follow our industry-leading sales process to help clients find the right product at the right price and close the sale.
  • Must be technologically savvy.
  • Ability to accurately and precisely measure for each product.
  • Prepare most quotes onsite or within 24 hours of sales appointment.
  • Resolve customer issues should they arise.
  • Utilize initiative and creativity to generate new clients and marketing opportunities.
  • Participate in Home & Garden trade shows in Spring & Fall.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven Sales/Customer Service related experience required
  • Valid drivers license and willingness to adhere to a national background check
  • Detail Oriented – focused and precise in measurements and math, able to read a tape measure
  • Communication skills – ability to articulate product’s pros and cons, converse in a friendly manner putting the customer at ease
  • Superior time management – organized and systematic, good follow up skills
  • Interior Design and/or Custom Sales experience preferred but not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year

Education:

  • High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

  • Sketchup: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Selling/Customer Service: 1 year (Required)
  • In Home Sales or relevant (please explain): 1 year (Required)
