About the Role
The Director, Strategic Accounts is responsible for growth, retention and client excellence for our key accounts. This leader sets the standard for account management and high-quality client service through key account planning, growth for a portfolio of accounts, managing high-level client relationships, auditing agency performance and implementing best practices for the department. This role acts as a primary client-facing liaison on a designated portfolio of key accounts, providing support to the team on client escalations and facilitating bi-directional communication between the client and key stakeholders within the agency, weighted in quality control and measuring client experience. The Director of Strategic Client Services is integrally involved in holding annual reviews and/or quarterly business reviews for top-tier clients; leading the growth strategy and building strong, long lasting relationships with high level executives and decision makers that support agency growth and retention.
The base salary range of this role is $80,000 - 100,000/year, plus strong performance incentives. We provide unlimited PTO, medical, dental, and vision insurance, healthcare FSA, and voluntary short & long term disability insurance. We also provide 401k with matching, available after your first year.
This is a hybrid role; candidates in Central/South Florida areas are welcome to work out of our offices in Orlando or Miami three days per week, candidates in the NYC Metropolitan area are welcome to work out of our office in Manhattan.

What You'll Be Doing
- Serve as primary contact for a portfolio of our top-priority clients, preparing strategic account plans, identifying new agency services to integrate that ultimately evolves into fully integrated, omni-channel digital marketing strategies, drafting and closing contracts and preparing necessary presentations to kick-off new projects and teams on closed growth work.
- Complete quarterly business reviews (QBR) with the top agency clients; reporting on performance, retroactive results, tech stack optimizations, and identifying opportunities within the strategy to support growth and up-sell agency services for the following quarter.
- Contribute to the onboarding experience (and when necessary offboarding experience) to ensure that the client and internal teams are set up for success.
- Must be able to collaborate cross-functionally to ensure that the client needs are being met, quality is maintained and risks or escalations are handled in a timely manner.
- Partner with Finance to support communications for invoicing payments and/or collections on past-due accounts.
- Engage and document internal and/or external reasons for client churn, identify trends, and report to leadership on a recurring basis.
- Possess strong analytical and process management skills, while holding a broad understanding of business strategy and operations.
What We're Looking For
- 8+ years of progressive experience in account management within the field of digital marketing, performance marketing, and/or content marketing.
- Experience building strategic business partnerships through consultative selling with large enterprise clients is required.
- First-hand experience with digital marketing (including media buying and performance marketing) is required.
- A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude; no task is too big or too small.
- Skillful negotiator with experience in conflict resolution.
- Ability to manage inter-company relationships and appropriately influence others.
- Ability to work autonomously, build relationships with clients and to develop unique client focused solutions based on strong understanding of client business challenges and needs.
- Experience with Slack, G-Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides) is required. Experience with HubSpot is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed quotas.
