SUMMARY
Lakeside Surfaces, LLC, the leader in the stone industry, is hiring a competitive sales representative to add to our growing team! Sales representatives are responsible for strategically increasing sales by developing and maintaining relationships with customers and clients. Our clients are typically (not always) Kitchen and Bath centers. We joke that we cut rock and we are in the fashion industry. You would be interfacing with designers and construction professionals, helping them make the best choices for their clients.

Lakeside is looking for a team orientated individual who makes the LS Team, our products, and our services the focal point of sales opportunities. You win because the team wins. The team wins because you are action oriented and competitive in nature. In being strategic, you can identify and develop appropriate sales techniques that can reach each of our different clientele. You bring an inquisitive, listening ear that allows you to formulate appropriate questions during sales conversations to help close information gaps that allow you to provide the best solutions.
Your career is in your control as well as your accounts. You are tactful in gaining the trust and confidence of your clientele, leading them to choose the best countertop solutions. You maintain a certain level of mental toughness that keeps you focused on the endless opportunities & driving business results.

MINIMUM JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience selling high-value finished home furnishings and/or products
- Experience in stone countertop and/or custom design/build experience
- 2 or 4-year college degree
- Excellent communication, time management and scheduling skills
- Strong desire to meet and exceed sales expectations
- Demonstrated knowledge of strategic selling concepts and relationship development
- Clean driving record
MINIMUM PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to lift up to 30lbs
- Ability to move and carry substantial parts on varied surfaces
- Ability to follow all safety requirements
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
WORK ENVIROMENT
- Home office with on the road travel required (limited overnights required 4-6/year), company vehicle provided.
- Will be traveling a geographic territory, meeting with and selling to clientele base.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
