Westside Concrete Materials is seeking to hire a full-time Inside Sales Representative / Warehouse Associate to generate sales both in person and over the phone while providing excellent customer service and complete warehouse work including loading customers purchases, unloading vendor trucks, and receiving product.

A DAY IN THE LIFE AS AN INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE / WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATE:

• As an Inside Sales Representative / Warehouse Associate, you use your charisma and selling techniques as you talk to potential and existing customers in person and over the phone. You answer any questions customers may have and recommend appropriate products while accumulating data concerning future projects that Westside Concrete Materials could assist with.
• Each time you make a sale, you maintain sales records and generate reports comparing projections to actual performance. And, you are sure to meet deadlines for time-sensitive materials. You safely and efficiently load and unload vendor and customer trucks by hand or with a forklift. The items you move include bags of concrete, lumber, and/or rebar.
• You take charge of challenging opportunities as they arise and provide excellent customer service both at the counter and over the phone. You feel good about representing a company with a solid reputation and playing an important part in their success.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Great customer service skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
• Excellent phone skills

Salary and Benefits. The salary is prescribed by the applicable collective bargaining agreement. With no previous experience, the salary starts at $25

• Experienced candidates will be placed according to the union contract salary scale between $25 to $29.65
• Full benefits package including health insurance, a pension plan, and paid vacation.
• This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.
