Consult with group employees to sell specified products.

Essential functions

• Consult with clients in person and via phone to explain plan options, answer questions and enroll in selected products.
• Coordinate with Manager on schedule and enrollments. Coordinate with Group Administrator and advisor on-site.
• Meet monthly sales goals as set by VP of Operations and Benefits Education Manager.
• Serve in sales call center as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Additional Responsibilities

• Attend Carrier seminars and training.
• Provide on-the-job training for new employees.

Qualifications

• Two year commitment to The Cason Group
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
• Must have an insurance license.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must have excellent communication, inter-personal, and customer service skills, as well as the ability to work well with others to secure their support and cooperation.
• Must be proficient in the following computer applications: Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Internet and email. Knowledge of database systems is desired.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Work requires significant travel to current and potential clients. Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Must be willing to work a flexible schedule, occasional overtime and overnight travel.
• Must be willing to accommodate employer’s schedule, which might include meeting with employees on shifts.
