Pay Range: $2,800 – 14,375/Month
POSITION SUMMARY
The Salesperson’s primary responsibility is the sell/lease new or used automobiles, trucks, and vans on the premises of vehicle sales establishment in accordance with dealership policies, state, and federal law.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Manage selling opportunities, activates and responsibilities.
- Effectively lead clients through the McCurley Sales process.
- Greet and interview clients.
- Feature, advantage, benefit presentation, and demonstration.
- Secure a commitment, complete ownership proposal and close the deal
- Professional delivery and follow up with your clients.
- Pass all product knowledge tests and maintain certified.
- Maintain CSI above region, zone, and national average levels. Achieve acceptable CSI scores and survey returns as established by the Dealer Principal.
- Maintain highest ethical standards. Utilizes only legal and ethical selling techniques.
- Manage customer satisfaction.
- Develop sales strategy that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
- Set short and long term goals and adapt for success.
- Knowledge of inventory, and competitive vehicles.
- Maintains accurate activity reports.
- Communicate effectively interdepartmental coordination with fixed operations.
- Vehicles driven or moved as part of job: Demonstrating new or used vehicles to potential customers. B. New and used car repositioning on sales lots as required for display and/or weather.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
- Treat members of the public in a courteous and non-discriminatory manner.
- Possible chemical exposure as regular part of the job. (a) A limited number of chemicals are used on occasion as a normal part of the job. (b) In order to recognize and protect him/herself from chemicals in the workplace the employee will attend training in company’s hazard communication program (worker’s right to know), utilize chemical inventory list, utilize material safety data sheet (MSDS), and utilize required personal protective equipment at all times.

Education
High School Graduate or General Education Degree (GED). Some college preferred.
