ASSA ABLOY has an exciting opportunity to join our Northwest Service Center or regional manufacturing facility located in Kent, Washington.

You will work in a team atmosphere and be responsible for supporting our customers for the full-life cycle, from order entry to post-invoice inquiries. You will develop strong relationships with internal teams such as Sales, Production and Shipping, as well as external stakeholders such as Suppliers, Distributors, Architects, Contractors, etc.
You will also:
- Act as the customer advocate and provide follow-up to product inquiries and research any potential issues to ensure resolution in a timely matter.
- Provide exceptional support for customers in a technical product environment, including customer inquiries, pricing and discounts inquiries, order entry and order follow-up and support after sales inquiries.
- Review orders for product and to ensure accuracy of pricing. Reach out to customers to ensure the details of their orders and suggest alternatives to meet customer requirements based on stock and material availabilities.
- Work in partnership with sales team to help drive sales growth and uncover new opportunities with the customers.
- Other projects and assignments, as needed.
- Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees
- Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
The Skills and Experience you need:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- Minimum of 3+ years of Customer Service experience supporting B2B customers
- Previous Customer Service experience in a specialized technical industry or environment preferred.
- Pricing knowledge / experience helpful.
- Excellent verbal / written communication and organizational skills
- Possess a strong mathematical ability to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, including fractions and decimals.
- Possess strong reasoning and problem-solving abilities.
- Previous experience using CRM tools, an ERP system, shipping software, and/or possess a comfort level moving between applications and ERP systems to support customers.
- Previous experience or exposure to reading blueprints would be highly preferred.
- Previous manufacturing and/or building material products knowledge is an asset.
Compensation: $20 to $30 per hour, depending on experience
