Full description of the position

Job Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome customers upon their arrival to the warehouse showroom.
• Form a relationship with customers even if they may not be buying right away
• Offer a professional, high energy, progressive sales attitude
• Identify the customer’s needs
• Describe merchandise and explain use, operation, and care of merchandise to customers.
• Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain merchandise based on customer needs and desires.
• Assist with design coordination
• Initiate and collect customer information and include all pertinent follow up contact information
• Keep detailed and accessible customer records on a clean and organized desk
• Close the sale. Assist customers with purchasing, financing, delivery and ultimate satisfaction
• Process and record payments properly, paying attention to all necessary details
• Maintain strong follow up and follow through skills in store via email communication telephone and Greenboard.
• Help keep our showroom a clean and inviting place to shop
• Return fabrics, wood samples and catalogs to their appropriate places after using them
• Strive for continued growth
• Develop personal knowledge of products, professional sales techniques and promotions
• Stay abreast of current design styles and trends
• Provide continual administrative support to management, team members and customers by answering phones, directing calls and offering assistance where needed
• Help make sure all furniture items on display have sale tags
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma
• 1-3 year's previous sales experience

Pay: $32,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
