Full description of the position

Allen Pools and Spas is looking for visionary, growth-mindset driven Sales Manager based out of our Williston, VT location. This person would be instrumental in the development of our sales team across our 3 locations in VT & NH. This person would have a flair for working with people, identifying areas of improvement through the sales process, and implementing action plans in training staff on an individualized, personal basis.

CORE FUNCTIONS:

· Collaborates with Management team in establishing and recommending the most realistic sales goals for the company.

· Establishes and manages effective programs to compensate, coach, appraise and train sales personnel.

· Works with sales team to establish and exceed individual and department goals.

· Recommends, evaluates and implements new products.

· Acts as a key member of the management and leadership team.

DETAILS OF FUNCTION:

· Performs sales activities and negotiations with sales personnel.

· Manages personnel and develops sales.

· Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly revenue streams.

· Develops specific plans to ensure revenue growth in all company’s products.

· Provides monthly results assessments of sales staff’s productivity.

· Schedules proper company resources to ensure efficient and stable sales results.

· Formulates all sales policies, practices and procedures.

· Regularly review the CRM and email tracks to ensure the most effective and efficient process.

· Collaborates with the Management team to develop sales strategies to maintain and improve market share in all product lines.

· Educates sales team by establishing or recommending programs/seminars in the areas of sales technique, sales of emerging products, profitability, improved presentation strategies, competitive strategies and management of expenses.

· Carefully monitor each sales person’s CRM software to ensure proper follow up and that procedures are adhered to.

· Review sales staff payroll for accuracy.

· Collaborate with Management team to establish and control budgets of sales personnel, sales promotion, trade shows and showroom expenses.

· Holds regular meetings with sales staff.

· Attend regular Management team meetings.

· Prepare and report by giving analysis of weekly, monthly and annual sales goals, sales results and challenges.

REPORTING

· Reports directly to the General Manager and CEO

QUALIFICATIONS

A bachelor’s degree in marketing or business or a minimum of relevant sales or sales management experience. Problem-solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information. Proven ability to motivate and lead the sales team. Experience in developing marketing and sales strategies. Excellent oral and written communications skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft office products is required. Experience with CRM software systems.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
