Brentwood Country Club is seeking a Full Time Sales Associate with stable work history and preferably basic golf knowledge, to be part of our Golf Shop department. Job Summary: Enthusiastic and highly motivated sales associate. Strong Member & Guest relation skills and interpersonal skills as well as the ability to anticipate the needs of the Members & Guests are key attributes for this position. Candidate should be organized, detail oriented, and a self-starter who is able to work well with a team of professionals.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Establishes excellent customer relations and ensures the highest quality of customer service.
• Operates POS system and processes member and guest charges.
• Trains and assists new hires.
• Ability to work weekends and/or holidays.
• Maintains positive rapport with members and guests.
• Interacts and communicates with Golf Professional Staff
• Assists with monthly inventory and other administrative duties as needed.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to communicate effectively with proper grammar.
• Ability to work well under pressure, coordinating multiple tasks at any given time.
• Ability to focus attention to detail.

Education and Experience:

• A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, is required.
• Customer service experience.
• Basic golf knowledge preferred.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to exert up to twenty-five pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects when needed. On a continuous basis, sit or stand for long periods of time; use a telephone, and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means; and lift or carry weight of 25 pounds or less.
