Full description of the position

The Property Administrator at the State & Federal properties is responsible for assisting in day to day operations which includes leasing & compliance initiatives, managing maintenance work orders and maintenance staff, and rent collection.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for leasing activity as outlined in the job description detail.
• Familiar with HUD and CHFA requirements.
• Ensure compliance with Affirmative Fair Housing Marketing Plan, Resident Selection Criteria, Admissions and Continued Occupancy Policy as well as all targeting Rent Stratification occupancy requirements.
• Prepares and processes all housing applications from preliminary applications to the offer of permanent housing application.
• Receives, enters, and closes out all maintenance work orders from both tenants and HA staff, and input follow up on work orders if needed.
• Provide administrative support to the Property Manager, Operations Manager, and Executive Director, as needed.
• Establish and maintain linkages with services providers in the community and the State, and coordinate informational sessions or presentations for NLHA residents.
• Coordinates activities with the Resident Boards at NLHA properties.
• Oversees food pantries and CSFP food boxes and complete recertification paperwork every six (6) months.
