AKA Hotels + Hotel Residences is recruiting a Sales Manager to drive revenues for AKA West Palm, our newest location in South Florida. We are looking for a candidate that has experience in the West Palm market. Our ideal candidate should be ready to hit the ground running and be fully trained with tools and contacts required to quickly close business, make data driven decisions, and uncover new corporate accounts for the property. The Sales Manager must be energetic, highly organized, results-oriented, and team focused.

Team Member Requirements:
- New business development, specifically for Leisure, Real Estate, Hospital, Insurance and Education segments
- Continually prospect and organize meetings with local area contacts to increase reservations for weekly, and monthly stays. This includes but is not limited to tele-prospecting, site inspections, outside sales calls, sales blitzes, industry networking events and maintaining relationships with competing properties - both hotels and other service residence providers
- Be responsible for and implement a sales action plan for the development of the designated market segments
- Book weekly and monthly stays for “AKA Individuals” that are in between apartments and traveling to area for Leisure, Real Estate, Hospital, Insurance and Education
- Utilize ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Navigator daily to build prospecting lists, uncover new accounts and target through collaboration with DOS and create prospect lists in CRM
- Team Member should have intimate knowledge of West Palm Beach market
- Partner with West Palm Sales + leadership team to lead proactive sales efforts and achieve 2023 budget expectations
- Update sales CRM system daily with all activity and leads in pipeline, share live updates in weekly sales meeting
- Solicit new and existing accounts that have relocated or plan to relocate to West Palm, consistently read news articles and press to be fully versed in the market
- Work with DOS to develop sales strategy and action plans, to include assisting with sales segmentation on the business plan
- Analyze current inventory and market rates to create rates for prospective clients, both individuals and company negotiated rates
- Prepare pipeline reports and marketing actions as required by Director of Sales
- Collaborate with Hotel AKA + Hotel Residences brand sales team to drive new business opportunities
- Build relationships with competitive set, fully verse of what market offers and what decisions need to be made to gain share in the transient segment
- Attend sales and client events to promote the AKA brand, which includes networking at Chamber of Commerce events, Hotel Association events, Travel industry events, Industry events that pertain to assigned market segments and Mobility industry events, virtual and in person on request
- Host and attend client events on and off-site, specific to local market to include monthly brokers opens
- Partner with Client Services Manager to execute and support the operation by making sure all reservations and contracts are fully accurate
- Participate in sales meetings and relevant operations meetings as required
- Respond promptly to all inquiries and correspondence from clients, prospects, and lead referrals
- Achieve sales and revenue goals as specified in the goal setting process

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four‐year College or University
- Must be extremely flexible and adaptable to daily frequent changes in a fast-paced environment
- Must have proficient knowledge of a variety of computer software applications in word processing spreadsheets, database, and presentation software (MS Word, Excel)
