Sales Development Representative in Norfolk, NE
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Sales Development Representative to generate and qualify leads for our organization using a database of contacts. As a Sales Development Representative, you will be responsible for making outbound calls to potential customers to introduce our products/services, gather information, and set up appointments for our sales team. In addition to lead generation, you will have the opportunity to build and grow sales accounts that can lead to commission opportunities. You will need to have excellent communication and listening skills, as well as the ability to handle objections and keep accurate records of all interactions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Use a provided database to make outbound calls to potential customers
- Introduce our products/services to potential customers and gather information about their needs
- Qualify potential customers by asking a series of questions to determine if they meet our criteria
- Set up appointments for our sales team to follow up with qualified leads
- Build and grow sales accounts through regular contact and relationship building
- Keep accurate records of all interactions and outcomes in our CRM system
- Continuously improve sales techniques and approaches through training and coaching
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in cold calling and generating leads
- Strong communication and listening skills
- Ability to handle objections and rejection in a positive manner
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using a CRM system and other sales tools
Working Conditions:
- This position is primarily conducted in an office setting with a standard 40-hour workweek.
- This position may require sitting for extended periods of time and utilizing a computer and phone for the majority of the workday.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
